Janssen Research & Development, LLC is recruiting for a Senior Financial Analyst, TDS Capital supporting our Therapeutics Development and Supply organization within the Biologics team. The ideal candidate will be in Spring House, PA, Malvern, PA, or Titusville, NJ with consideration given to remote work arrangements on a case by case basis.

In this role, the Senior Financial Analyst will support the global Therapeutics Development and Supply organization of Innovative Medicine R&D, which is responsible for the formulation and supply of products for testing in clinical trials in preparation for commercial readiness. Close business partnership across IM R&D, IM Supply Chain, and with senior finance and business leaders will be critical for success. The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for shaping and managing the Capital Appropriation process to execute on budget and timeline commitments. The Senior Financial Analyst will also lead end to end financial reporting and analysis of TDS Consolidated Capital results, including presentations to help shape and drive business investment decisions.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Provide financial leadership, NPV analysis, and accounting guidance in compliance with J&J Worldwide Procedures to cross functional teams for capital appropriation requests.
Manage functional budget expenses associated with all Capital projects inclusive of Capital project operating expenses and depreciation.
Drive Capital portfolio analytics to provide strategic insights; develop management presentations and communicate key messaging to shape and drive business decisions.
Lead all financial reporting and analysis cycles for TDS Capital, including quarterly actuals, forecast cycles, and Long-Range Financial Planning (LRFP).
Ensure LRFP, Business Plan and Forecast updates equip stakeholders and leaders with key data to influence and support their decisions.
Develop strong business partner relationships throughout the organization to drive robust understanding of strategic capital portfolio management process and influence future state operations.
Collaborate across Innovative Medicine to strategically execute and deliver above market growth investments
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a major in Accounting or Finance.
MBA, CPA, CMA, or other financial certifications is preferred.
A minimum of three (3) years finance or related business experience is required.
Experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, or consumer products industries is preferred.
Experience leading business cases (NPVs and IRRs) for large capital projects preferred.
Must possess excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual, communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to think creatively and work in a team environment is required.
The ability to effectively take on leadership roles in various functions is required.
The ability to navigate through ambiguity is required.
Must work well in a fast-paced environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently, and handle several tasks simultaneously.
This position can be located in Spring House, PA, Malvern, PA, or Titusville, NJ with consideration for remote work on a case-by-case basis. This role may require up to 10% travel.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $77,000- $124,200
The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
