Minimum 6 months of Machine Operator / Prior plant experience required Must be willing to learn team skills and work in a team environment. Daily routine requires being on your feet nearly 100% of the time, walking, and standing, stooping, or bending. Must be able to lift, push and pull to remove extinguishers along the assembly line and pack extinguishers where average to heavy weight is involved. Must be able to read, write, and understand simple math and work from blueprints. DUTIES Fill Equipment Monitors equipment and controls of Fill and Material Handling System; monitors inputs (air dryer, compressor, chemical flow, vacuum pressure, etc.) and makes the appropriate system adjustments. Inspects product and records results per First Article Instructions and/or Work Instructions if required; makes appropriate system adjustments as a result of the inspection process. Maintains equipment (vacuums equipment and area, cleans fill heads, etc. performs required Preventative Maintenance, etc.) per Work Instructions.
