Generac Power Systems Regional Sales Manager, HVAC Service - Energy Systems - New England in Marlborough, Massachusetts

The Regional Sales Manager, Service will report to the Branch or Department Manager to add new customers to the service portfolio and generate Construction business by working closely with the operations team to identify and develop these new business opportunities.

The role is responsible for revenue generation through new account development and key account management in market segments, focused on commercial and industrial applications; with emphasis on critical infrastructure, data centers, broadband, and target vertical markets that will vary by geography and branch. The BDM will be responsible for revenue growth regionally within these business segments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Achieve sales targets in assigned geography and C&I vertical markets with emphasis on critical infrastructure.

  • Its primary focus will be to add services through new customers acquisition and development construction opportunities within the existing customer base and new customers.

  • Identify customer requirements and coordinate with Operations to develop and present proposals; similarly, identify and respond to RFPs.

  • Ensure clients receive the desired level of service and that projects are successful and meet customer expectations.

  • Keeps an updated opportunity pipeline and regularly tracks and reports on progress toward sales goals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred

Certification / License

Electrical or Mechanical license or 10+ years in trade

Work Experience

  • 5+ years of C&I critical infrastructure industry relationships

  • Versed in all technical aspects of infrastructure services, including facility management, maintenance, and installation services within the Commercial, Industrial, or critical infrastructure space.

  • 5 years of knowledge of critical infrastructure support systems; preferred to include all Electrical or Mechanical systems.

  • 5+ years of consultative sales experience in a business-to-business environment with a proven track record of sales performance

  • 5 years experience in commercial construction sales

  • Maintains a current understanding of electrical or mechanical industry trends.

Compensation : Energy Systems is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives.

Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
