Description
We are offering a role with a focus on business analysis, based in Marysville, Ohio. The role is primarily virtual with some potential for overtime. The position involves in-depth knowledge of various software packages from a purchasing and licensing perspective.
As a key member of our IT Software Asset Team, your responsibilities will include:
Mastering complex licensing models for a variety of software vendors, such as Microsoft, Adobe, Snagit, Tableau, among others.
Liaising with various departments, suppliers, and vendors to procure necessary software quotations.
Evaluating and confirming software requests, ensuring they are consistent with the respective software's license model, and are processed timely and accurately.
Resolving requests and queries through clear verbal and written communication to minimize confusion and misunderstandings.
Educating colleagues on proper understanding and administration of software licensing.
Handling new situations and problems effectively and quickly as they arise in the ServiceNow system.
Maintaining rigorous compliance and standard practices regarding software asset licenses.

Expert knowledge on software asset license compliance
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication skills with the capability to liaise among different teams and levels of management
Ability to provide advice and best practice solutions related to software asset management
