Business Purpose:

This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual who has a track record and passion for social media and influencer marketing. In this role you will be responsible for leading proactive strategy development and content creation for a variety of social media channels including, but not limited to Instagram and TikTok . As a Digital and Social Media Manager, you will guide the brands on proper engagement across channels, provide input into strategy, and be agile enough to activate social tactics independently, including both owned social assets and influencer content creation.

You will work closely with brand teams and proactively seek out opportunities to engage and seed content in online conversations. You will use the brands’ digital strategies to represent the brand’s equity with consumers Highly Restricted

and online influencers. You will proactively manage and resolve issues, provide counsel, support and scenario planning on social response strategies. You will be a key contributor to the brand and communications teams, and use social expertise and consumer understanding to shape brand digital/social strategies.

Job Description:

  1. Consumer engagement and advocacy: as a true expert and voice of the company, proactively drive content creation that adds value for consumers and drives positive sentiment online about our brands. Constructively defuse critical conversations and create consumer advocacy online. Identify and engage with online influencers and advocates.

  2. Community expert: Share insight on current trends/consumers’ needs to influence the business’ social media and influencer marketing strategy. You will be a key resource by providing expert advice in terms of what is working and what could be done better.

  3. Real-Time Proactive Engagement: Marry the brand voice, equity and key priorities with real-time trending topics across social to enable our brands to be “big and popular.”

  4. Executional Excellence with Attention to Detail: Execution is all the consumer sees. You must be vigilant in executing all social content with excellence and within P&G policies. This includes working with external parties, such as social media influencers, to create content that represents P&G and our brands well, often with tight deadlines.

  5. Measurement and Monitoring: Responsible for real-time monitoring of content performance. Provide ongoing feedback and recommendations for improvements, and collaborate with a cross-functional team to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead internal and external agencies on social media and influencer marketing strategy, execution and content creation

  • Encourage collaboration between outside agencies and troubleshoot diplomatically when needed

  • Monitor and engage with pop culture trends and social media/digital industry trends across all categories to build relevant and interesting content

  • Research trends outside of the industry and apply that knowledge to the holistic digital strategy for the brand

  • Manage social and influencer marketing strategy across platforms including Instagram and TikTok

  • Utilize analytical skills to decipher data and recommend actionable next steps

  • Engage team members and other stakeholders from across the organization to maximize opportunities to leverage social media to support brand initiatives

Skills and Experience Required:

  • 3 to 5 years of digital and social media experience

  • At least 3 years of experience managing social media and influencer campaigns for consumer brands across multiple social platforms

  • Previous experience managing SEM, SEO, paid search and organic search and ability to drive search strategy

  • Solid project management abilities; capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time timelines and within budget parameters

  • A positive/can-do attitude and comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience with content management systems and social analytics tools

  • Proven experience and results in digital and social media programs from strategy development through to execution across platforms

  • Proven affinity to the social space

  • Collaborative and proactive leadership style for working with external agencies and internal teams

  • Excellent written, verbal and multimedia communications skills especially in the social space

  • Ability to thrive under pressure and keep the teams positively motivated

  • Experience in the Health Care industry is of interest due to the regulatory requirements
