Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Business Partner in Maumee, Ohio. This role involves implementing and coordinating HR initiatives to create and maintain productive employee relations while following employment law to a T. You will be responsible for managing relations between employer and employees, fostering employee satisfaction, and promoting positive internal customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Act as an employee champion, ensuring that the needs of the employees are the focus of all activities conducted by the organization and the HR Department.

• Handle all company communication to staff regarding company culture, philosophy, employee engagement, and compliance with State and Federal regulations.

• Assist in maintaining compliance standards regarding State/Federal labor and employment laws.

• Support Location Management with policy and expectations relating to the company’s philosophy, culture, rules, and procedures.

• Manage the Employee Recognition Program and partner with Leadership to identify and implement retention strategies.

• Provide regional Onboarding Program to effectively introduce and energize New Hires to the company.

• Measure employee satisfaction and seek feedback to improve internal customer service on a continual basis, including conducting exit interviews.

• Create an environment for success through good communication and team building.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an HR Business Partner for a minimum of 2 years

• Proficient in Employee Relations and Labor Employee Relations

• Solid understanding of Employment Law and Labor Law

• Experience in Onboarding and HR Strategy development

• Proficiency in UKG Pro HR software

• PHR or SHRM-CP preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
