What You Will Do:
The Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis will support financial planning, budgeting and forecasting for the Company. The Manger FP&A will be directly involved in managing and building the Corporate services budget. The Manager FP&A helps review monthly results to identify and investigate variances to budget, developing reports and presentations to explain month-end results, and creating financial models to support decision making and assisting with the monthly financial close.
What You Will Need:
Bachelor’s Degree; Four (4) years additional professional experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
Six (6)+ years of professional experience in Finance: Direct and proven experience in a similarly structured role; more than 8 years experience is preferred
Experience managing and supervising staff
Experience in systems implementations
Strong Excel Knowledge and Experience
What Is Nice To Have:
Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge in the following areas:
Support the month end financial reporting process including the monthly financial reporting package
Support the annual budgeting process
Support preparing Board and Banking reporting packages as required.
Assist the Finance and Accounting team in ad hoc reporting requests
Manage the finance portion of the dashboards to ensure reporting accuracy
Financial modeling, maintaining complex spreadsheets, and ease with multiple financial systems
Working with equity partners on ad hoc analysis
Working independently. Ability to self-manage and meet hard deadlines
Supervise analyst staff on financial analysis functions; mentor and coach the staff.
Proficiency at MS Office suite. software tools and highly skilled at Excel
Proficiency with Oracle EPM Planning and reporting
Expertise of Deltek (Costpoint and Deltek Time & Expense) and Financial Reporting tools such as Cognos, Power BI, and planning software such as Hyperion Planning
Peoplesoft experience is preferred.
Supporting financial decision makers
Interacting with all levels of the organization, including executive management
Excellent communication skills
Private Equity experience
Preference will be given to candidates who reside within 50 miles of a Guidehouse office.
The annual salary range for this position is $100,200.00-$150,200.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
