Are You a Skilled Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator?

Join a dynamic team and take your career to new heights! We're looking for an experienced welder/fabricator for a busy structural steel shop in Medford, NY. If you have a keen eye for detail, a knack for precision, and a passion for building steel structures, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform layout, welding, and general fabrication

• Work with structural steel, including H-beams, channels, and tubes

• Execute Stick, MIG, TIG, and flux core welding

• Maintain AWS certification

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical plans

• Accurately measure and mark dimensions

• Work with brass, aluminum, stainless steel, and steel

• Perform brass brazing

• Operate forklifts and other relevant machinery

• Ensure welds meet quality standards

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and tests on welds and fabricated components

Skills

• Mig (3 years of experience is required)

• Tig (3 years of experience is required)

• Spot (3 years of experience is required)

• Stick (3 years of experience is required)

• Blueprints (2 years of experience is required)

• AWS Certified

• Layout (2 years of experience is preferred)

• Fabrication (2 years of experience is required)

• Flux Core (2 years of experience is required)

• Structural Steel (3 years of experience is preferred)

• Iron

• Tape Measure
