Oracle Business Support Strategy & Operations Director in MELBOURNE, Australia

About the Job This role is responsible for driving the ANZ Business Strategy and Management function for Oracle Consulting and will provide strategic insight and business support to the ANZ OC business leaders to drive efficiency in business reporting and control, so that the ANZ Consulting business can continue to grow with the needed information and insight that best position the business to achieve its strategic objectives.

Given the impact of ANZ Consulting to the Oracle strategy – a comprehensive understanding of Consulting services for the delivery of Oracle solutions is crucial to the success of this role, as well as, Services to Sales of Cloud subscriptions is key.

The successful candidate will report to the Head of ANZ Consulting.

What you’ll bring

• Sound Analytics skills to enable an data insights driven business strategy is a must

• Solid knowledge about Oracle’s Consulting or Services business and Cloud positioning, at strategic as well as operational level

• Clear interest & understanding of Oracle’s Cloud positioning with Consulting is a must

• Proven track-record working at senior business leader level, contributing to define strategic direction and planning as well driving the operational execution

• Experienced in leading teams through changing circumstances and in providing support to initiate and implement impactful business changes

• Ability to effectively coordinate and support xLoB business activities; and to build effective internal networks and relations and having an effective EQ is crucial

• Take ownership to “get things done” with clear prioritization– effectively challenge, as needed

• Effective communication style and having solid communication skills

• Has 15+ years of consulting services senior management experience

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the entire Business Support function to support the Head/VP, ANZ Consulting, his leadership team and Consulting practices & teams across the ANZ region

o Guide & support the ANZ Consulting business direction & planning

o Guide & support the execution and tracking of business plans & management decisions

o Handle & address business escalations towards resolution with clear prioritization

• Responsible for operational results of ANZ Consulting as a group, resource strategy, quality of consulting delivery and assuring reference ability for that group.

• Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies

• Responsible for key business reporting and control of:

o Forecasting of Sales and Revenue o Utilization of Consulting billable resources

o Resource management (Oracle Core, Offshore resources, and Sub Contractors)

o Sales Ops (GTM, Sales Lifecycle from Target Setting to Bonus achievement and payout)

o Cross LOB interface (OCSC, GBU, LIC, Support, etc)
