Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Senior Principal Project Management to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals onsite in Melbourne, Florida.

This position is for the role of an Individual Contributor Program Integrator to support the E-2D International Strategy and Growth IPT . The selected candidate will be part of a diverse organization of project integrators within the Program Operations Homeroom. The candidate is responsible to oversee and manage the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serve as the liaison between program management and integrated product teams. Candidate should possess leadership skills and should thrive in an agile, fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages program rhythm and associated calendars

  • Manages Capture Team’s actions, including tracking to completion

  • Management of team’s Whitepapers/Talking Points & Smartsheet's

  • Integrate, control, and manage program and product requirements

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress, for intervention, and problem solving with project managers and functional managers

  • Coordinate with internal and external customers, integrated product teams, and suppliers

  • Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions

  • Work under consultative direction toward long-range goals and objectives

  • Actively work with Leadership to ensure success of the program

  • Identify Opportunities to save cost and/or schedule to bring more value to our customer and improve performance

  • Manages/Facilitates Risk, Issue and Opportunity Management

  • Non-technical requirements management

  • Program Resource Management

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 10 years of project management like experience OR a Master’s degree with 8 years of project management like experience

  • Knowledge of project management principles and experience using them professionally

  • Experience preparing and presenting presentations

  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)

  • Must have the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time in order to meet business needs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in project management, business, or international business

  • 3 years of demonstrated experience leading cross-functional project teams

  • Experience interfacing with senior level leadership

  • Experience supporting International customers

  • Experience with capture of new business/customers

  • PMP certification

  • Current Secret/Top Secret clearance

Salary Range: $95,000 - $142,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
