Walden Security Exclusive Client Site Manager in Memphis, Tennessee

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform entrance control : Enforce the Corporate Client’s entry and identification restrictions. This includes identifying corporate level VIPs, dignitaries and staff. Developing relationships with these persons while performing physical security to the main building, garage and exterior common areas.

Perform roving patrol: Patrol corporate facilities and grounds of the facility in accordance with applicable post orders.

Perform stationary post assignments: Stand guard at stationary posts which includes (but not limited to) monitoring closed-circuit television, alarm systems and other security equipment, elevators, garages, lobbies, office floors, and local Bank Branch facilities.

Perform escort duties: When directed, provide armed escort services for corporate level VIPs, dignitaries, high level patrons and other designated individuals.

Perform garage parking and pedestrian control: Where applicable direct pedestrian traffic flow, public parking security and corporate parking protection, as described in the post orders and/or standard operating procedures.

Prepare reports and records: Prepare various reports and records regarding contract performance issues, such as labor hours worked, accidents, fire, bomb threats, unusual incidents or unlawful acts that occurred within the corporate facilities area.

Law Enforcement Liaison : Serve as the initial primary representative between Law Enforcement/First Responder response and the corporate employees, patrons, and corporate level staff to include, but not limited to, Banking Corporate Security.

Overwatch: Responsible for securing unoccupied spaces, inspection of premises prior to the arrival of facility staff, daily testing of security communications, and other duties concerning security of the Corporate Facilities area at the beginning and ending of each business day.

Supervision: Responsible for providing security presence to all employees and supervision to Walden Security uniformed armed officers that are providing the basic functions of the physical security demands of the Memphis Main Office facilities.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS : Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). At least four calendar years of verifiable experience as a certified law enforcement officer or its military equivalency; the termination of that experience must have occurred within the last 5 years. This experience must have included general supervisory responsibilities.

Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Must possess the ability to understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have completed or graduated from certified federal, state, county, local, or military law enforcement training academy and able to provide certification as proof. May be substituted by Honorably discharged military experience, combat focused military MOS designations verified through the government DD214 form preferred.

Other Qualifications: Must be at least 21 years of age; Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for long periods. Be able to walk distances in excess of 3 miles per shift and be able to navigate stairs regularly through the course of a shift.
