We are seeking a seasoned IT Applications Development Manager with experience in the Oracle Fusion platform and a background in software architecture. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the implementation, maintenance, integration, and optimization of our ERP and other back-office systems. This position will also provide technical leadership in software architecture to ensure the scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our IT systems. Location: we are open to remote, however our preferred locations would be in the Central, Mountain or Eastern time zones. Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end enablement activities related to our Oracle Fusion applications, including Fusion Financials, and Fusion Supply Chain Management, to meet the organization's business objectives. You will lead and mentor a team of ERP specialists fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Define and implement software architecture strategies and frameworks to support the integration, scalability, and extensibility of our ERP system and related IT infrastructure. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, IT software engineers/developers, system administrators, and IT business analysts to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality ERP solutions. Conduct code reviews, performance analysis, and system audits to identify areas for improvement and optimization in the ERP system and associated applications. Drive the evaluation and selection of third-party tools, technologies, and platforms to enhance the functionality and performance of our ERP ecosystem. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and system configurations, to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge transfer. Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and industry best practices in ERP systems, software architecture, and enterprise integration, and recommend strategic initiatives to leverage new opportunities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent professional work experience. 7+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a focus on ERP implementation, software architecture, and enterprise integration. Proven expertise in Oracle Fusion applications, including hands-on experience in implementation, customization, and administration. Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and architectural frameworks (e.g., SOA, microservices, API design). Experience in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, DevOps) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, CI/CD). Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable strategies and solutions. Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, build consensus, and drive change in a collaborative environment. Preferred: Oracle Fusion certifications (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP Certified Implementation Specialist, Oracle Certified Expert) preferred. Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) is a plus. Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
