The Opportunity
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a Business Development Manager to join our team at the Kennedy Space Center in Meritt Island, Florida. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying and cultivating new partnership opportunities, coordinating the implementation of sponsorship agreements, and developing sponsorship proposals. Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $66300 - $89500 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. Responsibilities
Cultivate, secure, and manage strategic partnerships for Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, including coordinating kick-off meetings and partner tours
Oversee the internal proposal process, including ensuring quality control, meeting deadlines, and creating compelling presentations
Manage the execution of contractual obligations to sponsors, coordinating with internal and sponsor teams to meet deadlines and deliver marketing activations across various platforms
Coordinate the development and implementation of partner content, displays, and exhibits, including shipping and loan agreements
Develop profiles for prospective partners, outlining their mission, leadership, links to NASA, and potential for long-term partnerships
Drive a company vehicle as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or sales management required.
Minimum of 3 years of previous related experience in partnership marketing or business development.
Proven ability to generate revenue through strategic partnerships.
Strong proposal writing, networking, and lead generation skills required.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suiterequired, experience with PowerPoint, Photoshop, and SmartSheet preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license.
