is looking for a Digital Media Account Executive to join our team in New Orleans, Louisiana!
The
Digital Media Account Executive generates digital advertising revenue by calling on local and regional businesses plus established agencies to develop new prospects. They should bring solutions to these businesses with Nexstars full suite of digital products.
The Digital Media Account Executive will achieve budgeted revenue goals by professionally and effectively selling WGNOs Core Digital products (Display, Video, Sponsorships, etc.) and the Nexstar Media Digital suite of digital marketing products (OTT, Targeted Video and Display, Social Media, SEM, Email, etc.), with the objective of advancing client marketing goals and achieving client KPIs.
Nexstar Media Digital products include - SEO, SEM, CTV/OTT, Display, Online Video, Email, Social, YouTube, YouTube TV, Spotify, Pandora, The Weather Channel App, Weather.com, WGNO News App, WGNO.com.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospect, qualify, develop, close, and grow new digital advertising business.
- Identify and prospect new clients while maintaining a healthy pipeline of potential leads.
- Make in-person sales calls on prospective and existing clients.
- Establish credible relationships with local businesses and their decision makers.
- Conducting in-depth needs analysis to understand each client's unique advertising goals.
- Develop and present customized digital advertising solutions.
- Maintains active accounts while developing new accounts.
- Responsible for order entry, contracts, follow-up and collections.
- Play a pivotal role in facilitating the creation of clients ads with our production team.
- Other duties as assigned.
SPECIALIZED
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record.
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and modern office equipment.
- Proficiency in MS Office products required.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and a strong team player.
- Detail-oriented with problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize diversified workload.
- Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision and ability to multitask.
- Requires demonstrable knowledge of common digital platforms
- Ability to translate challenges into opportunities.
- Knowledge of digital sales and marketing with experience in SEO, SEM, Social, Streaming and targeted display or video
- Presentation experience, excellent written and verbal communications essential.
- Basic understanding of ad tags, analytics and campaign tools.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Mass Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and/or proven work-related experience.
- Minimum one to two years experience in business-to-business sales, preferably in digital marketing or the media field. Digital advertising experience required.
- A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
