Experience & Qualifications:
Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, tests, and aerial photographs on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and other topographical and geologic data to plan and design project
Visits project site to ascertain existing conditions
Calculates cost and determines feasibility of project based on analysis of collected data
Prepares or directs preparation and modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, and design for project
Administers construction contracts and conducts periodic on-site observations of work during construction to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans and specifications
Uses computer equipment and engineering and design software and equipment to develop engineering and design solutions
