Description
We are offering a unique contract opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager in the E-Business/Commerce industry. This role is based in Salt Lake County and will involve overseeing and managing all aspects of the Accounts Payable function, from processing invoices to managing a team.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the Accounts Payable function, including invoice processing, journal entries for cash receipts, and check issuance.
• Lead a team of four, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to company standards and protocols.
• Act as the primary point of contact for setting up vendors in Oracle.
• Manage and monitor vendor payments.
• Implement, maintain, and review Accounts Payable operations policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Utilize your extensive experience in accounts payable to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Lead complex processes and manage a team effectively.
• Use Oracle or similar management software to carry out your duties.
• Apply your knowledge of drop ship and third-party seller models.
• Use your problem-solving and critical thinking skills to handle any issues that arise.
• Maintain organization and communication within the team.
• Pay attention to detail and maintain accuracy in all tasks.
Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in check processing
• Ability to handle discrepancy resolution efficiently
• Familiarity with expense reporting procedures and systems
• Proven track record in team management
• Proficiency in Oracle software for financial management
• Experience in invoice approvals and invoice coding
• Comprehensive understanding of e-business and e-commerce industry
• Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
