Essential Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure the team follows safety rules and guidelines. Be responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices.
Assist with development and workflow of construction drawings, graphics, and deliverables associated with our design and planning work.
Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices with your team.
Assist with marketing and business development efforts toward the establishment of a sustainable landscape architecture practice for the firm.
Actively engage in the community organizations such as participation on boards and commissions or other professional/community associations.
Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company.
Be responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for a major phase of a large project or have overall responsibility for the landscape architectural work on a project of moderate scope.
Coordinate with clients and local, state, and federal agencies. Maintain project schedules including tasks management. Provide direction and leadership of interdisciplinary resource specialists at EPG and subconsultants, as needed.
Senior level landscape architectural professional provides technical direction required for production and completion of both routine and unique or complex projects.
Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for a major phase of a large project or have overall responsibility for the landscape architectural work on a project of moderate scope.
Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate work involving conventional practices but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements.
Provide review of projects requiring complex and innovative investigation techniques and supervises the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports to clients; provides technical review of reports.
Lead technical training and makes informed decisions based upon state-of-the-art technological issues.
Provide leadership of marketing, sales, and business development.
May supervise less experienced personnel on projects.
Serve as an Authorized Project Reviewer.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture
Minimum 8-11 years’ experience
Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history
Registered Landscape Architect is required
Preferred Software Knowledge:
Must be proficient with the following programs:
LandFX
AutoCAD
Lumion
Adobe products
Microsoft products
Revit knowledge and experience would be a plus
