Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead safety efforts for the team and ensure the team follows safety rules and guidelines. Be responsible for creating and modeling a safe work environment; demonstrates safety practices.

  • Assist with development and workflow of construction drawings, graphics, and deliverables associated with our design and planning work.

  • Promote continuous quality monitoring and improvement on projects. Monitor quality standards and practices with your team.

  • Assist with marketing and business development efforts toward the establishment of a sustainable landscape architecture practice for the firm.

  • Actively engage in the community organizations such as participation on boards and commissions or other professional/community associations.

  • Develop understanding and be aware of project-related risk. Be familiar with what could go wrong on a project and how to protect the Company.

  • Be responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for a major phase of a large project or have overall responsibility for the landscape architectural work on a project of moderate scope.

  • Coordinate with clients and local, state, and federal agencies. Maintain project schedules including tasks management. Provide direction and leadership of interdisciplinary resource specialists at EPG and subconsultants, as needed.

  • Senior level landscape architectural professional provides technical direction required for production and completion of both routine and unique or complex projects.

  • Responsible for conceptualizing the initial design and/or investigative approach for a major phase of a large project or have overall responsibility for the landscape architectural work on a project of moderate scope.

  • Plan, schedule, conduct, and/or coordinate work involving conventional practices but may include a variety of complex features such as conflicting design requirements.

  • Provide review of projects requiring complex and innovative investigation techniques and supervises the analysis and formulation of recommendations in written reports to clients; provides technical review of reports.

  • Lead technical training and makes informed decisions based upon state-of-the-art technological issues.

  • Provide leadership of marketing, sales, and business development.

  • May supervise less experienced personnel on projects.

  • Serve as an Authorized Project Reviewer.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture

  • Minimum 8-11 years’ experience

  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history

  • Registered Landscape Architect is required

Preferred Software Knowledge:

Must be proficient with the following programs:

  • LandFX

  • AutoCAD

  • Lumion

  • Adobe products

  • Microsoft products

  • Revit knowledge and experience would be a plus
