The EMEA Business Develpment Manager will be responsible to develop the Prevent market accross the region expanding the use of Phasix.

Principal Responsibilities:

  • To identify and develop KOLs for new applications to increase awareness and adoption of the Phasix technology and new adjacencies as Colorectal and support the expansion of the market.

  • To work with surgeons and allied healthcare professionals to develop podium presentations, submission of Key Products abstracts, white papers, and posters, etc. Administer National and International congresses/surgical society meetings strategy to support business development in close collaborations with NSM and EMEA MD.

  • To train, coach sales reps on new indications and applications and support in OR.

  • To work in close co-operation with country teams. Collaborate with Marketing in administering peer-to-peer preceptorship programs, centers of excellence, clinical symposia and advisory boards to drive short term awareness, adoption and long term sustainability of Phasix business (Prof ED). To manage and optimize the existing Professional Education Platform working with KOLs and to develop new country workshops to increase customers awareness for Prevention to support the development of Phasix into the new applications as Colorectal.

  • Refine & launch (together with the EMEA marketing team) patient and healthcare provider education strategies and corresponding collateral to ensure the safe and efficacious adoption to deliver targeted number of high quality Prevent clinical/educational presentations at key surgeon hospital meetings and events.

  • Provide written product/ market / competitor reports and feedback to EMEA MD as required.

Technical Responsibilities:

  • Expected to gain a thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathologies, and surgical techniques associated with abdominal wall / colorectal as well as our complete portfolio of Phasix.

  • To actively contribute to the training of the direct sales forces.

  • To actively attend OR and support Sales Teams when necessary as well as surgeons in the use and optimization of the Phasix expansion platform.

Your Profile:

  • A minimum of 5/7 years’ experience in the General Surgery/Abdominal Wall /Hernia industry or a clinical/market development experience is preferred.

  • A degree in a Life Science (or equivalent) or a strong experience (+5/7 years) in the medical device industry

  • Ideally have experience of working closely with sales teams

  • Candidate must be a strong team player with high medical ethics, be available for travel, and show a real talent for medical device sales in the appropriate environment. Motivation, perseverance, and creativity are a definitive plus.

  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, pivot tables, Word, Power Point and Outlook

  • Preferred current knowledge of the General Surgery/Abdominal Wall /Hernia/Colorectal market is required with experience of developing a new market being a significant advantage.

  • Experienced and successful KOL interaction and leadership and influence skills for all levels of the business & surgical market is required.

  • Strong team player and track record of working collaboratively.

  • Good computer skills with Microsoft tools Word/Outlook/Excel/PowerPoint supporting insightful business analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to analyze market and sales trends as they relate to the product portfolio.

  • An advantage to already have in place good surgical clinical knowledge and relationships with surgeon thought leaders.

  • This job requires at least 70% of mobility across the country.
