We are looking for a diligent Inventory Clerk to join our team in the greater MILFORD Massachusetts areaIn this role, you will be responsible for processing purchase orders, managing inventory flow, and providing excellent customer service to our members. You will work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including members, vendor representatives, and our merchandising and inventory/purchasing teams.

Responsibilities:

• Review daily inventory levels and sales forecasts to ensure appropriate stock levels for enhancing customer experience.

• Write and manage purchase orders using tools like Excel or Purchase Order Report Generation (PORG).

• Regularly review the Purchasing Deck Report to confirm stock levels and selling rates and determine if new orders are necessary.

• Monitor and manage old open purchase orders.

• Adjust purchase orders in case of short shipments or issues with received models based on information from the warehouse and communicate the same to the vendor.

• Monitor vendor performance to ensure complete and timely fulfillment of purchase orders.

• Respond timely to phone and email inquiries from vendors/members regarding special orders, model availability, price adjustments, order cancellations, and delivery dates.

• Process builder project requests from members, check models, and add applicable discounts.

• Recommend continuous improvements, including management of replenishment product.

• Assist co-workers with tasks as needed, such as builder project quotes and research A/P invoices.

Skills:

• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP Solutions, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites.

• Strong customer service and data entry skills.

• Experience in Purchasing Activities, Purchasing Department, Purchasing Functions, and Purchase Orders.

• Knowledge of Epicor ERP, Epicor is a plus.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or similar role for a minimum of 2 years

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites, especially Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Data Entry operations

• Experience in Customer Service

• Knowledge of Purchasing Activities, Purchasing Department operations, and Purchasing Functions

• Familiarity with generating and managing Purchase Orders

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Proficiency in using Epicor ERP and Epicor software solutions

• Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant qualifications will be a plus.
