Description

Georgia Military College seeks a Part-Time Transcript Processor for the Main campus. This position is located in the Academic Records office and will report directly to the Registrar. This position is responsible for the following:

  • Process transcript request forms from students via in-person, by mail, email, and/or fax.

  • Notify students by mail, phone, and/or email in regards to holds on account.

  • Provide customer service to students, staff, and stakeholders.

  • Assist with updating names and addresses as well as printing schedules as needed.

  • Assist with the processing of historical academic records.

    *Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma/GED equivalent and the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with that level of education

  • Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having a similar position for one to two years

  • Skill in oral and written communication, mathematics, and filing

  • Skill in utilizing word processing software, operating a computer, typewriter, facsimile, calculator and copier

Preferred:

  • Associate’s Degree

  • Knowledge of Colleague and Perceptive Content
