Description
Georgia Military College seeks a Part-Time Transcript Processor for the Main campus. This position is located in the Academic Records office and will report directly to the Registrar. This position is responsible for the following:
Process transcript request forms from students via in-person, by mail, email, and/or fax.
Notify students by mail, phone, and/or email in regards to holds on account.
Provide customer service to students, staff, and stakeholders.
Assist with updating names and addresses as well as printing schedules as needed.
Assist with the processing of historical academic records.
*Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma/GED equivalent and the ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with that level of education
Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having a similar position for one to two years
Skill in oral and written communication, mathematics, and filing
Skill in utilizing word processing software, operating a computer, typewriter, facsimile, calculator and copier
Preferred:
Associate’s Degree
Knowledge of Colleague and Perceptive Content
