JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are hiring for a CNC OD Grinder Operator! As a CNC OD Grinder Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining our CNC OD grinding machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. Your precision and attention to detail will ensure that our components meet the stringent standards our clients expect. -Set up and prepare CNC OD grinding machines for operation based on job orders and blueprints. -Perform precision grinding of external cylindrical surfaces to meet specified tolerances and surface finish requirements. -Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and adjust machine settings as necessary. -Conduct quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished parts. -Troubleshoot and resolve issues that may arise during the grinding process to maintain production efficiency and quality standards. -Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and regulations. -Document production and inspection results accurately in job logs or electronic systems. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: -Proven experience as a CNC OD Grinder Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment. -Proficiency in setting up and operating CNC grinding machines, specifically OD grinders. -Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials used in precision manufacturing. -Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications. -Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. -Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently. -Knowledge of safety guidelines and procedures for operating machinery. ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: meghan@hatchstaff.com Apply Online: hatchstaff.com This position is listed by a private employment agency.
