Jacobs Construction Manager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin

We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced, and highly motivated resident project representative/construction manager to join us in Milwaukee, WI. In this position you will be responsible for delivering municipal water and wastewater treatment plant upgrades and assisting in the growth and development of the water and wastewater market sector within our east central region. Bring your experience as an Resident Project Representative to our multidiscipline design team focused on water/wastewater treatment projects, where you will have the ability to be involved in all aspects of projects with high degrees of technical complexity from the concept stage through detailed design and construction services. You will also have the opportunity to mentor and develop less experienced staff. This position will require staff to be working on the project site.   • At least 10 years’ experience of technical inspection work in a construction environment, specifically construction specifications, drawings, and documentation

  • Experience in municipal construction or related field

  • Experience with multiple trade inspection, construction and estimating

  • The physical ability to move around an active construction site

  • Excellent team player with exceptional interpersonal skills to deliver results

  • Ability to develop interpersonal relationship building, resolve conflicts, and participate in diverse teams

  • Excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, team-oriented work practices, and strong data analysis & technical problem-solving skills

  • Ability to adapt and learn on the job

Ideally You’ll Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field

  • Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of Minnesota

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams

  • Experience in water and/or wastewater facility construction
