SENIOR NETWORK ENGINEER Local candidates only as this is a hybrid position onsite at our corporate office downtown Milwaukee. Hybrid schedule: Onsite Mon, Tue, and Wed. Remote Thur and Fri Contract through end of 2025 Job Responsibilities: As a member of the Network Core Engineering team, your role will encompass the following key responsibilities: Take ownership of the installation, deployment, provisioning, communication, and documentation of the network infrastructure, hardware, and software, ensuring their alignment with the needs of the business. Deliver exceptional services that align with the strategic objectives of the organization, encompassing service management, risk management, and successful project delivery. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment of network services with broader organizational goals. What this role needs: The ideal candidate for this role must possess senior-level expertise in the following technologies: A minimum of 5 years of experience is required, with a recommended 8-10 years of experience. A solid understanding of network architectures, such as spine and leaf, is essential. Proficiency in spanning tree, VLANs, and EVPN is highly valued. Experience in configuring and troubleshooting BGP is highly desirable. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of these technologies, coupled with a proven track record of practical application and troubleshooting. Their expertise will contribute significantly to the smooth operation and optimization of our network infrastructure.
