Self-schedule/signs up for shift date and time of your choosing weeks in advance (shifts for days, some for pms, or NOCs, etc). We have shifts that start every two hours on the odd hour...0500, 0700, 0900, 1100, etc. Typically, rotators end up working more PM shifts due to the needs of the department. Assists with patient care by performing clinical & supportive functions that they have documented competency to perform. Adheres to policy, procedures & established standards of practice. EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year of Paramedic experience preferred. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required. LICENSURE: American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required. Paramedic Certification in good standing in the state of Wisconsin is required. American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is required within 1 year of hire. Paramedic Certification in good standing in the state of Wisconsin. For incumbents in this role prior to 3/1/2024 must obtain PALs by 3/1/2025.
