Aston Carter Receptionist / Office Admin in Milwaukie, Oregon

Job Description:

Seeking a Receptionist/Admin to cover front desk for and provide administrative support. The receptionist will greet customers as they come into the facility. They will be doing administrative work which will require working outside of the front desk including talking with people from various departments. This person will be tied to the human resources department but support other teams such as sales as needed with tasks such as data entry. This person needs to be a high energy , positive person that is willing to jump in and help where needed.

Daily Tasks Could Include:

  • Greet people at the front desk

  • Use Outlook calendar to schedule appointments and manage calendars

  • Data entry of sales metrics

  • Order supplies

  • Prepare meeting rooms including setting up for events

  • Planning internal events such as parties and picnics

  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations

  • Use excel to enter data

  • Update organization charts, safety evacuation lists and internal contacts

  • Ordering office supplies

  • Organize supplies

  • Provide customer service over the phone, in person, and via email

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Outlook calendar - scheduling

  • Excel for data entry (basic)

  • PowerPoint creation

  • 2-4 years of experience in an office

  • Willingness to do training presentations

  • Professional demeanor

  • High energy and willing to jump in where needed
