Ecolab Inc Global Account Manager, OEM in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Additional Job Description The Global Account Manager is focused on growing incremental sales and improving the profitability of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Healthcare targeted accounts in the Healthcare Division. The primary responsibility will be to identify and close selling opportunities with customers and market leaders in areas that fit our core competencies. The is a remote position based in the United States. Candidates can live anywhere in the Mid West or East Coast and must be located near a major airport. Principle Accountabilities: Achieve annual sales target within budgeted operating expenses Expansion of sales pipeline to achieve targeted growth plans Serve as primary interface to set the stage developing customer confidence in all Ecolab offerings Develop and execute effective commercial strategies to maximize base business and secure new business, accomplished by deploying life cycle management strategies ensuring the dynamics of legacy and new product innovation (NPI) mix Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and cultivate executive relationships with key decision makers and influencers within assigned Global Accounts Responsible for managing accounts which involves maintaining good communication with key customers, forecasting, budgeting, and profitability of all products sold Develop robust business plans supporting revenue targets and growing NPI pipeline Maintain and grow knowledge of industry trends, competitors, competitive offerings, and impact on customers and prospects Provide customer forecast information and communicate to planning team Collaborate with all functional Ecolab project managers (RD&E, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to achieve revenue expectations Conduct key account business reviews routinely Interface and travel with/to customers as needed - 50% global travel expected Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree 7+ years of Healthcare Sales and/or Manufacturing Industry Sales experience Proven track record of successful sales and budget attainment Proficiency with MS Office software Willingness and ability to work after business hours, including overnight travel and attending Trade Shows on weekends Role Details Occasional weekend coverage Primary Accounts: Medtec, Healthcare, Medical Device Occasional overnight travel Preferred Qualifications MBA/Advanced Degree Black Belt Certification Proven relationship management, communication, and consulting skills Ability to take initiative, work independently, and prioritize multiple projects with strong follow-through and organizational skills Demonstrated knowledge and expertise with Healthcare industry, product lines, and offerings Excellent presentation skills Benefits Ecolab strives to provide comprehensive and market-competitive benefits to meet the needs of our associates and their families.Click here to see our benefits.
