Xcel Energy HRIS Technology Analyst in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Position Summary

Plans, manages and implements Human Capital Management (HCM) technology business solutions in a fast-paced environment. Provides technical direction to internal and external groups in accordance with HCM technology objectives. Consults with business and HR unit leaders to identify requirements and fulfill needed requirements.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Support HR technology efforts involving Workday and ServiceNow modules by teaming with technology leads in day-to-day operations.

  • Support senior tech leads in updating and maintaining systems by ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security within the Workday, ServiceNow and UKG.

  • Collaborate with subject matter expert cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements.

  • Perform application upgrades, as well as provide training and technical support.

  • Develop and implement new system processes to enable efficient HR management.

  • Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring,

  • Collaborate, provide technical support, and train HR departments and employees.

  • Analyze HRIS and HR performance metrics and providing insights to leadership.

  • Leverage interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Document processes, as well as performing diagnostic tests and audits.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.

  • At least 4 years of professional experience and 2 years of experience working directly with HCM solutions to support business/HR objectives and activity. Experience with HCM solutions in a SaaS environment preferred.

  • In-depth understanding of how all HCM technologies can be used and applied to the business.

  • Ability to understand changes in technology in detail and determine how best to source technology to meet the business needs.

  • Ability to understand business processes and coordinate with others. in system deployment.

  • Effective project management skills, including the ability to track status of deliverables, navigate the complexity of competing priorities and simultaneous initiatives, and to provide timely updates to stakeholders and drive progress.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting working relationships and collaborate across disparate groups.

  • Proven consultative and coaching skills.

Preferred Requirements

  • 2 years of Workday experience supporting from a Technology perspective.

Non-Bargaining

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $69,700.00 to $99,100.00 per year
