ASM Global IT Support Technician in Minneapolis, Minnesota

POSITION: IT Support TechnicianDEPARTMENT: ITREPORTS TO: Director of ITFLSA STATUS: Hourly, PT

Summary:Under general supervision, this position is responsible for providing technical support during major events at U.S. Bank Stadium.

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Troubleshooting of ticket scanners.

  • Game day iPad deployment and troubleshooting for suites and clubs.

  • Assist with deployment of wireless network and mobile carts as needed.

  • Basic support of televisions, telephones, radios and other communication tools.

  • Assist guest attendees with mobile app issues.

  • Learn and follow all safety and emergency procedures.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma (or G.E.D.).

  • Two years related technology support experience required.

  • Previous customer service experience a plus.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and troubleshooting skills.

  • Experience with Windows, Mac OS, iOS and Android operating systems and devices.

  • Basic networking knowledge, including wireless and Ethernet networks.

  • Experience with laptops, tablets, projectors, speakers, public address and other A/V equipment.

  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot network printers and copiers.

  • Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction or supervision.

  • Flexible; prioritize work in order to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.

  • Attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.

  • Have the physically ability to lift, push, pull and or move and re-position a minimum of 50 pounds generally in the form of computers, monitors, servers and other related hardware.

  • May spend long hours walking, standing, or sitting while working.

  • Be able to climb and work at extreme heights for long periods of time.

  • Visual acuity to stare at computer monitors for long periods of time.
