Roles & Responsibilities:
Sensor and antenna set up and teardown
Pre-flight and post flight operations
Sensor operation
Troubleshooting, repairs and maintenance activities
Operational Safety
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
Technical Background
1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in drone and lidar operations
1-3 years’ experience working with lasers
Troubleshooting and repair knowledge
Exhibits successful ability with indirect leadership of diverse teams deploying complex processes
Displays strong analytical skills including data query writing and development
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements
Desired Skills:
Previous experience as a sensor operator
Previous experience with electrical products preferred
Previous experience with maintenance, upkeep and reporting
Demonstrated capacity to meet aggressive deadlines while achieving excellent business results
Shows very strong written and oral communication skills to all stakeholders
Established ability to manage multiple complex projects at once
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
Ability to work in challenging outdoor environments with more than half the day spent standing/walking. Occasional office involvement
Very Heavy Travel (> 50%)
Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9 AM to 4 PM
Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
