Position Summary
This position will assist in developing and managing referendum content and proposal and interview preparation process. This position will assist in the overall referendum process, working closely with business development managers and project managers, and external clients such as a school superintendent/city administrator, administrative staff, and advocacy committee members.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Digital and collateral graphics production- Moovly videos, pictographs, brochures, postcards, boards, etc.
Video production coordination.
Social media support, both internal and external.
Engages with referendum team, including kickoff meetings, virtual meetings, email, and phone.
Assists in the proposal and interview processes, including developing the proposal content, presentations, graphics, reviews, production, and delivery.
Develops, edits, and implements style and design guides and templates for referendums, proposals, and other coordination documents and any other supporting deliverables.
Supports overall marketing and business development projects as needed, such as department/sector presentations, marketing collateral development, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills are essential.
Demonstrated computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Graphics capabilities, including design, layout, text formatting, image formatting, and knowledge of graphics software (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Journalism or technical writing experience is a plus.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment (listen, collaborate, and communicate).
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, dynamic environment.
Meticulous attention to detail and consistency in work product.
Must effectively and professionally interact with a variety of people and situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to possess and maintain exceptional work ethic and uphold company values and demand the highest standard of conduct from self and others.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Associates degree or 4-year degree from a college or technical school (Marketing, Communication, Journalism, or English)
Writing background with strong graphics capabilities
Interest in social media
Other:
Ability to travel to jobsites as necessary
Valid driver’s license
