Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role involves working in our shipping/receiving department, handling daily planning and shipments using a warehouse management system, and communicating with the scheduling department to arrange truck pickups. The candidate will perform custom packaging for outgoing shipments involving large and curved products, requiring custom cutting of boards to support and reinforce loads. Responsibilities include using tools like a pneumatic bander, screw gun, and hammer, and reading a tape measure accurately. The role is fast-paced, requiring adaptability, problem-solving skills, and creativity. Leadership experience is crucial as the candidate will train and collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals, with potential opportunities for growth as the department expands.

Work Site

Work Environment

The work schedule is 7am-3:30pm, Monday to Friday, in a large, clean, and well-organized warehouse/production facility with custom-made fabrication machines. The dress code includes jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes. The compensation range is $21 to $26 per hour.
