Job Summary
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management of one or multiple moderately complex projects concurrently; as well as planning and performing analysis of company functions, processes, and activities.
Job Description
We are looking for a Project Manager to be responsible for Project Management of large scale infrastructure projects from inception through completion. This role will be full-time and on-site with the ability to travel.
What You'll Do
Will be required to coordinate cross-team efforts, manage business and IT expectations, scope definition and scope management
Budget validation, justification, approval and reconciliation is a must
Communicate with senior management in the discussion and formal presentation format
Define and drive project schedules, manage vendors, align the project goals with IT strategic technology and process goals
What You'll Need
Required:
An understanding of project methodology
A good working knowledge of MS Project or similar time tracking tools
A good understanding of Enterprise Technologies and their application, very good communication skills including but not limited to business presentations, issue resolution and communicating the same message to large teams
HR skills include team building, performance evaluations, coaching, performance & problem solving
Lead by example within the IT Culture based environment
Ability to travel (40-50%)
Large complex project experience
5+ years of Project Management experience
Preferred:
PMP preferred but not required
Previous shipboard experience a plus
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
