BECOME AN AIRCRAFT CLEANER LEAD!
Our Aircraft Cleaner Lead is responsible for overseeing the cleaning of the aircrafts interior, ensuring that they meet specific hygiene and safety standards. This role involves coordinating with a team of aircraft cleaners, providing training and support where necessary. The Aircraft Cleaner Lead also inspects aircraft after cleaning to guarantee the quality of work and compliance with airline and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, this position may require managing inventory of cleaning supplies, liaising with airline staff, and ensuring timely completion of cleaning tasks.
WHAT IT’S LIKE TO WORK AS AN AIRCRAFT CLEANER LEAD
Oversee and coordinate with a team of aircraft cleaners
Responsible for cleaning aircraft and assigned tasks
Ensure all cleaning activities comply with aviation standards and safety regulations
Train new staff in aircraft cleaning procedures and the use of cleaning equipment
Inspect aircraft cabins for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues
Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stocks
Develop and implement efficient cleaning schedules to minimize aircraft downtime
Conduct regular quality checks to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Liaise with airline representatives and airport staff for cleaning requirements
Handle and report lost and found items according to company and airport policies
Employing problem solving abilities for issue resolution
Maintain records of cleaning activities and schedules
Working under pressure to meet internal and external targets or deadlines
Exceed PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
Perform any additional duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
18 years of age or older
Eligible to work in Canada
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
Ability to use electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
Pass a background check
Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (RAIC)
Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Must have a valid driver's license (class G)
Must be willing to obtain an AVOP within 6 months of employment
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY/WORKING CONDITIONS MAY INCLUDE:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Prolonged standing and walking in an indoor/outdoor environment as applicable
Must be able to push, pull
Must be able to reach with arms and grasp with hands
Exposure to Biohazards and/or Chemicals
Must be able to bend, stretch, squat, and kneel
Must be able to crawl and crouch, at times, in confined tight spaces
Exposure to moderate and at times high noise levels
Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
Tasks may involve repetitive motions of the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers
Specific vision abilities required for this job include: Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less); distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more); peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point); depth perception (three-dimensional vision, ability to judge distances and spatial relationships); ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus)
