Simple Freight LLC Diesel Mechanic in Mobile, Alabama
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks
- Repair and replace faulty components such as valves, pistons, bearings, and injectors
- Carry out scheduled and unscheduled repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for our fleet
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel engine mechanics
- Preference will be given to a person possessing their own tools
- Experience needed with Detroit, Cummins, Mack and Paccar diesel engines
- 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
- Prefers ASE certification
- Hourly rate or per job pay available
