Join our innovative team as an Electrical Engineer - Firmware at our Monroe, North Carolina headquarters. We are part of a division that has been pioneering in the manufacturing of door closers, pivots, electrified closers, door operators, and electronic accessories since 1957. Our brands are leaders in the industry, and we continue to expand our product offerings through innovation, Wi-Fi programming, and setup enhancements. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for new product development, enhancing existing products, resolving quality issues, and ensuring designs meet manufacturability and testability guidelines. Your role will play a crucial part in maintaining our market leadership by participating in the entire cycle of product development, from concept to validation.
Hard Skills
BSEE/BSCE/BSEET degree
3 to 5 years of New Product Development experience
Familiarity with analog, digital, and embedded hardware
Proficiency in C/C++ and microcontrollers
Experience with general test equipment (oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter)
Competence in hardware and firmware debugging
Experience with PC Board design software (EDA)
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work well in both small and global team environments
Highly motivated and self-driven
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects
