JOB SUMMARY:

Assists in the execution of the employee relations strategy across the organization, counseling managers through employee relations issues end-to-end including documentation, analysis, and reporting, and developing both immediate resolutions and long-term prevention plans. Responsible for tracking issues, analyzing trends, and building linkages to management development, retention efforts, and Human Resources business intelligence activity. Partners with leadership regarding policy interpretation and ensuring that policies are updated and current.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as the point of contact for employee relations, conduct, and/or compliance concerns raised by employees or leaders and reported through the integrity line.

  • Conducts initial interviews and gather information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns and inform appropriate Human Resources staff when additional investigation is required.

  • Ensure compliance: Stay updated with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance. Advise management on any necessary policy or procedure changes to maintain an inclusive and fair workplace.

  • Own and manage the administration of local labor law compliance. Actively participate in labor contract negotiations and Labor Management Committees

  • Maintain employee records: Document and maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, including investigation reports, disciplinary actions, and employee conversations, following established privacy and confidentiality guidelines.

  • Overseeing engagement and climate surveys and other employee engagement processes including interpreting data and developing follow-up programs to address feedback from the surveys.

  • Providing consulting services to all organizational levels on employee relations matters.

  • Work closely with legal counsel on third party claims

  • Provides workplace-related recommendations/insights directly related to an investigation in accordance with company policy and practice.

  • Reviews internal processes and make recommendations for improvements and drive solutions that support business objectives and goals.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EDUCATION:

  • B.A. degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

  • 5-10 Years experience in Human Resources.

  • English Language Proficiency (Written – Spoken – Read)

  • Good communication skills and training ability.

  • Oriented to Great Place to Work Methodology

  • Ability to work well with people.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

  • Good organizational and planning skills.
