The Role

Lumen is looking for a Principal Architect Network Inventory Transformation to lead the design and execution of a multi-year network inventory transformation program. As the day-to-day delivery lead, this role co-ordinates Lumen's subject matter experts, 3rd party vendors and stakeholders across the organization to implement a new network inventory system. This role will be responsible for ensuring a constant focus of delivering value from the transformation, by implementing the different business-value drivers prioritized on the roadmap for transformation. Collaborates with the transformation office, vendors and key stakeholders to design, build, launch and implement the technical aspects of different products and solutions.

The Main Responsibilities

• Leads sprint ceremonies (sprint planning, standups, reviews, backlog refinement, retrospectives) following agile best practices

• Presents findings and progress of the transformation value drivers/use cases to key stakeholders during sprint reviews, steering committee meetings and board meetings

• Collaborates with the transformation office and key stakeholders to design, build, launch and implement the technical aspects of different products and solutions

• Collaborate with 3rd party vendors to oversee the implementation of new network inventory system

• Leads large technical teams (DevOps, Data Engineers, Software developers) to ensure collaboration between digital teams and key business users

• Works with product owner and SMEs to create clear set of business requirements of the solution

• Manages cross-organization collaboration, communication, and prioritization

• Collaborates with technical and working team to build and implement solution; QA/QC solutions

• Work with product owner and SMEs to design business process changes/change management required to implement solutions and realize business impact

• Monitors business impact through the phases of implementation (pilot to full scale) of use cases of transformation; present key updates to TO and key stakeholders

• Manages expectations of key stakeholders; proactively elevate risks on impact or timelines

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in leading technical teams

• 8+ years of experience as manager of large scale transformation

• Background in telecom preferred

• Background in network inventory preferred

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in technology or engineering; experience as a consultant preferred

Compensation

The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

$128,310 - $171,080 in these states: AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD

$135,060 - $180,080 in these states: AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY

$141,820 - $189,090 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI

$148,570 - $198,090 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA

As with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
