HIRING: ASSISTANT TEAM MANAGER FOR CACEIS

This role: Managing the Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency team within the PERES department.

What is this main responsibilities' of the manager?: The manager’s need to step in and help, but not focused on BAU tasks solely. They need to manage the team. If any issues in the day – day BAU work, then they need to step in and help. Typically they are not doing BAU work but need to manage team doing the BAU work.

What are these teams responsible for?:

Transfer Agency

• Process subscription, redemption, switches and transfer for a range of onshore and offshore funds

• Maintain shareholder register and investor files

• Ensure internal and external enquiries are managed on time and with high quality standard

• Accountable for Global Servicing from operating location (includes shifts and work on bank / legal holidays and weekend when required)

• Maintain statistics up to date (including daily team checklist update)

• Maintain organizational relationship with Management line

• Ensure effective resolution of enquiries

• Escalation of issues & problems

• Processing and checking of function dependent on file uploads and extracts to ensure that all deadlines are met. This may include the daily upload of price files, SWIFT transaction files.

• Handle enquiries from investors and distributors

• Acknowledgement of buy and sell orders on behalf of investment funds.

• Monitoring of limits on fund level and escalate when a threshold is reached

• Timely reporting of daily trades and execution to fund managers

• Monitoring of the after trade processing (settlement)

Fund Accountant – PERES

• Review of documents, workings, allocation file and posting of entries on an ad-hoc basis upon a reasonable request from Client

• Working with TM team for preparation and review of invoices by providing accounting data

• Booking and posting of LOC entries upon notification from loan agent

• Cash reconciliation on a monthly basis including downloading of bank statements from Client Sharepoint

• NAV pick up exercise

• Allocation of management fees

• Quarterly NAV booking in Yardi

• NAV / VAT/ TAX Evidence Collection

• NAV preparation

• Booking of all type of transactions

• CACEIS S.A. and European Affiliates, and External fee accruals

• Recording asset valuation

• Interests calculation (Loans, …)

• Management fee calculation/ Specific fees (AIFM, distributor, ..)

• Performance fee and carried interest calculation/ waterfall calculation

• Intercompany database maintenance

• TB Mapping for SAP FC Upload (consolidation)

• Fund Consolidation preparation

• FA/Consolidation reporting

· Regulatory Reporting Support

· Tax abonnement preparation

· BCL Report preparation

· CSSF Report preparation

• Keep performance indicator

• Completion of PERES Database

• New funds On-boarding

Skills & Qualifications:

1) Strong communication skills needed to interact with high demanding clients (Fluent in English).

2) Strong US GAAP/IFRS (CAD/Euro) accounting background

3) 2+ years of experience as a Fund Accountant ( If not, Experience in Audit in a PERES group. An example would be someone working at EY, and the clients they are auditing are PERES)

4) Exposure to coaching / mentorship (Building teams, manage people, providing trading etc) (Ideal team size: 4-5 people+)
