Pay Rate: $80,000 to $90,000 (Depending on Years of Exp, Relevance, Etc.) + 10% Bonus Potential, + RRSP Match + Competitive Benefits Package and more. Shift/Work Structure: In office for training, then hybrid 3 days a week in office. Shifts range between 8AM-8PM EST.

Must Have Experience/Skills: 1) Strong communication skills needed to interact with high demanding clients (Fluent in English) 2) Strong US GAAP/IFRS (CAD/Euro) accounting 3) 3+ years of experience as a Fund Accountant 4) Exposure to coaching / mentorship (Building teams, manage people, providing trading etc) (Ideal team size: 4-5 people+
Purpose of this role: Managing the Fund Accounting and Transfer Agency teams within the PERES department.
Fund Accounting:
Quarterly NAV production
Perform analysis, make recommendations, prepare responses on accounting matters
Monitor and ensure that all deadlines are met - Financial statement review and analysis
Coordinate with Oversight team and provide full support for audit/review of financial statements
Readily shares information with others CACEIS IS departments involved in the NAV process
Ensure proper dedicated expertise on accounting topics (should also include Limited Partnership know how and expertise);
Transfer Agency Team:
Review the investor statement, call notices and distribution notices, perform/review cash reconciliations for incoming and outgoing funds, prepare/review client and investor reporting e.g. audit requests, bespoke reporting, regulatory reporting performed by our outsourced location
Ensure proper communication with clients, within the business line and with other internal departments and ensure proper resolution of issues including those with internal departments.
Ensure client retention through proper service delivery and active support of client reviews
Ensure an efficient operational service to clients with proper following of processes
What stakeholders will they work with?
The candidate will work closely with the other departments (on boarding, depositary, billing, compliance, internal audit) in order to ensure effectiveness of the communication and information sharing
Interact on a regular basis with client for all the activities
