Eaton Corporation Lead Analyst - Operational Excellence in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Eaton’s Global Finance Service and Systems division is currently seeking a Lead Analyst - Operational Excellence. This role is a hybrid position based at our Moon Township, PA or Beachwood, OH, facility

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

The lead Analyst will establish inter-department communications and process improvements between multiple departments including Credit, Project Management, Sales, Operations, Contracts, IT, and management as it relates to effectively managing the accounts receivable asset. The role will identify and prioritize areas of opportunity within Credit and the operational, commercial functions to drive permanent and sustainable process improvements and efficiencies to improve cash flow.

In this function you will:

  • Provide support to ESNA Direct team Genpact & Pittsburgh on manual processing of documentation and invoicing along with Pay Apps, SOV, and other pertinent training

  • Improve cash flow through facilitating collection of current outstanding receivables of major projects and any other customer basket

  • Support the system conversions of key financial and order entry systems (e.g., MadeToManage, Oracle, SAP), providing thought leadership and recommendations for clean implementation

  • Identify root cause of inefficiencies within Eaton OTC upstream processes, Quantify the order of magnitude of inefficiencies; continual data mining/driving in measurable terms to prioritize projects that will make the greatest impact. Support the strategy development & drive to completion with appropriate resources

  • Present findings and opportunities to senior leadership with regular report out on progress and holding stakeholders accountable and on track for the identified deliverables

  • Implement strategy to effectively negotiate and drive issues to a conclusion beyond the scope of their individual functions

  • Improve the accuracy of our order entry and management process on ongoing projects, thus improving our ability to improve our days to pay and cash flow

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Vista/SAP/Oracle on invoicing, collections, and escalations

  • Create and maintain standardized work documents utilized by Genpact and credit that details full project life cycle practices and procedures

  • Provide training for, Genpact & credit analysts on progressive billed projects. Specifically, work with individuals to so they can:

  • Effectively communicate the impact upon the business of improperly billed orders and their responsibility to properly enter and manage them

  • Develop processes that will ensure complete and timely payment of invoices

  • Educate and help individuals to understand the system capabilities/limitations

  • Effectively communicate problems, issues, and successes to all levels, especially upward to make management aware and to ensure ongoing support and escalation in resolving issues

  • Identify source issues causing/allowing the operational/commercial/technology challenges to be parked in AR asset

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

  • Minimum 5 years experience in roles such as project management or continuous improvement type role

  • Sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. on an ongoing basis without requiring company sponsorship.

  • Relocation not available. Candidates must reside within 50-mile radius of Moon Township, PA or Beachwood, OH.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Well-versed in evaluating processes and proven track record in implementing enhancements to improve processes

  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

  • Proficiency in development of business cases and new metrics, data mining

  • Experience in building regression/statistical modeling

  • Knowledge of how to perform data mining from a myriad of distinct systems
