Eaton Corporation V2X Program Manager in Moon Township, Pennsylvania

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a V2X Program Manager. This role can either be a hybrid role based out of our office in Moon Township, PA (relocation provided to those residing in the US outside 50 miles of location) OR a US remote based position with up to 25% travel to Moon Township, PA.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $91500.03 - $134200.04 a year.

The ARS Division – Connected Solutions Group is expanding its portfolio of Bidirectional Vehicle Charging (V2X) Systems in the North American region and we’re looking for experienced talent to manage New Product Introduction (NPI) programs. The V2X team develops electronic hardware, firmware, software, APIs, and electrical systems designed to interface with Vehicle OEMs, Electric Utilities, and home and site owners.

The Program Manager facilitates project planning, execution, requirements changes, risk mitigation, and issue tracking. This will include the use of enterprise development program tracking tools, Design and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA's), Multi-Generational Product Planning (MGPP), and industrialization. In addition, this position will work with the product management team on prototyping, portfolio planning, and customer engagements.

What you’ll do:

  • Successfully execute project scope with technical, schedule, cost, and quality commitments.

  • Establish objectives, goals, and provide direction to the program and project teams in areas of customer needs, potential changes in scope, and risk assessment.

  • Ensure the program team creates and maintains deliverables and leads the team during phases and Gate Review events

  • Ensure standard program management processes are utilized by coordinating PM reviews, preparing & publishing PM metrics and reports.

  • Work in cross-disciplinary manner with other departments (e.g., Manufacturing, Marketing, Procurement, Customer Support, Suppliers, etc.) and facilitate team meetings to execute the phase-gate process.

  • Coordinate requirements of the program by planning, controlling, integrating all down-stream projects, measuring all elements to ensure program goals are successfully achieved.

  • Track risks, develop and implement mitigation plans through collaboration to ensure challenges are solved before impacting project timelines.

  • Exercise financial acumen to complete required capital appropriation request for the assigned programs.

  • Communicate timely project status to internal leaders.

  • Understand project impact to the business and identify impact of project changes on the portfolio.

  • Drive implementation of company standard tools to improve Program Management performance at the site, such as ProPM and IBP.

  • Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

  • Five (5)+ years’ experience in program management and leadership of project teams.

  • Must be authorized to work in the US without work authorization now & within the future

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited institution

  • Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation (PMP); proficient in Program and Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.

  • Experience leading software and firmware development

  • Five (5)+ years of program leadership skills with the ability to manage both horizontally and vertically within a complex matrix organization

  • Experience in Risk Management.

  • Five (5) years of experience and proved proficiency in Microsoft Project

  • Agile certification

  • Broad knowledge of the product design
