Keylogic Systems Inc Project Controls/Pricing Analyst in Morgantown, West Virginia

TheProject Controls/Pricing Analystis a key member of the project team and works directly with the project manager to help define the project's goals and objectives; create and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the work schedules; and recommend actions to improve progress. In addition to performing project controls duties/responsibilities, the position will also be responsible for reviewing requirements for price/cost volumes in Government Requests for Proposals; Building comprehensive financial models to strategic discussions with Senior Management; Conducting labor market analyses to determine appropriate compensation levels for proposed project staff; Participating in decision making processes regarding competitive positioning/pricing strategies; Working closely with technical proposal team to understand requirements and to form pricing strategies; and Preparing cost/price volumes for submissions. Required Skills: Government contracting experience preferred Demonstrated experience in financial analysis/reporting Deltek Costpoint experience preferred 2+ years of professional experience required Experience in pricing Government proposals preferred Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Administration/Finance/Accounting or similar field. Excellent communication skills required - both verbal and written. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required. Knowledge and experience in reading, understanding and formulating responses to Government RFPs. Understanding of the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR). Experience with government contracting invoicing process preferred Collecting, understanding, and communicating financial data Cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting Ability to analyze financial aspects; including, but not limited to, project costs, revenue recognition, and risk management Ability to work with all levels of technical and management personnel. Ability to handle multiple proposals/deadlines at once. High attention to detail, organization, time management and a self-starter

Other duties as assigned - analysis or special projects related to financial reporting.
