Atlantic Health System IT Support Technician II in Morristown, New Jersey

Responsible for end user support of computer workstations and associated peripherals. Diagnoses and troubleshoots all organizational software, hardware and mobile devices.

Principal Accountabilities:

  1. Manages multiple complex priorities and projects.

  2. Provides configuration and or installations documenters to guide other technicians.

  3. Provides timely resolution to all assigned calls and or tasks and escalates calls to the appropriate technical groups.

  4. Acts as an ambassador of the department dealing with all customers in a professional manner.

  5. Interacts with all ISS staff members to achieve successful implementation and maintenance of organizational hardware and software.

  6. Provides timely status reports on Projects and or assignments.

  7. Visits offsite locations and provide service to our customers.

  8. Ensures Asset Management database is monitored, and discrepancies are remediated

  9. Works with vendors as necessary to achieve successful implementation and maintenance of hospital hardware and software.

  10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required:

  1. Associates degree, technical degree in Information Technology or related field or an equivalent of work history and education.

  2. 3-5 years of experience in Desktop Support, System Implementation or relevant area.

  3. Any of the following Certifications highly preferred: - Certified Azure Fundamentals Microsoft 365 - Certified Fundamentals MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Support Technician 7 - MCITP: Enterprise Desktop Administrator 7 or - MCP, MCDST - MCSA: Administering Windows Server
