Atlantic Health System Manager, Leave of Absence in Morristown, New Jersey

• Collaborates with the HRIS team to ensure successful vendor interfaces are in place and manages the relationship between the AHS and third party benefits

• Liaises with Employee Relations, Managers and key stakeholders to improve processes and procedures and optimize financial costs of leaves

• Serves as the subject matter expert for the leave programs in alignment with and under the general direction and guidance of HR leadership and Legal and federal/statutory guidelines. Coaches employees in order to retain and expand organizational talent through focused attention and effort

• Partners with Payroll and plays a crucial part in ensuring that team members on leave receive appropriate compensation

• Creates and/or streamlines and implements processes and tools for the Company leave programs

• Drives the implementation, communication, and administration of leave programs

• Develops, generates and presents reports to analyze leave data and trends

• Manages all aspects of the employee customer service operations related to Leave matters

• Oversees a team that administers all aspects of employee leaves to ensure compliance with AHS’ policies, federal and state leave regulations, while providing instruction, guidance and excellent customer service to employees, managers and business stakeholders

Bachelor's Degree Required

• 5-7 years Leave Administration experience required

• 2-5 years of leadership/management experience

• Experience in project management with significant emphasis on process redesign is preferred

• Experience establishing collaborative initiatives with multiple departments

• Prior benefits administration management experience in a shared services environment is preferred

• Experience in ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

• Demonstrated experience implementing HRIS processes and understanding the technical, business and people-related dynamics to consider as new systems are installed

• Oracle Cloud experience preferred but not required

• Previous experience with management of multiple vendors
