Description and Requirements

Lenovo is seeking an experienced senior leader to drive the NA Visuals Business to new heights. This leader will be responsible for developing a comprehensive go to market strategy, designed to significantly grow the overall category market share and financial results. Responsibilities include directing the overall Visuals portfolio in North America and managing the NA Visuals Product and Business Managers.

This role will support the NA Visuals Business with the following activities:

  • Effectively lead a team of Product Managers & Business Managers for Relationship, SMB, and Consumer customer segments through effective communication, driving strong team collaboration, mentorship & coaching.

  • Drive the planning and the execution of the Relationship and SMB cycles and campaigns in US and Canada, interlock with sales, ops, finance, marketing, supply chain and product management - Maximize Visuals sales by managing the product life cycle (product requirements, supply/demand planning, product launch, sales enablement, sales training, and product sunset). - Collaborate across multiple teams such as worldwide product marketing, relationship sales, channel sales, web sales, marketing, finance and supply chain in order to achieve the Visuals financial goals.

  • Align on Campaign Strategy and Execution with the Lenovo WW BU team • Own the NA Visuals P&L and drive strategies to maximize Revenue and Profit

  • Run consistent BMS to improve predictability and align on actions to grow the business. This includes weekly updates to the senior leadership team. The NA Visuals leader will guide a team that must:

  • Have a proven track record of growing & ramping new product categories and routes to market, preferably in the Visuals category

  • Have a deep understanding of the Visuals market including customer requirements, competitive positioning and technology trends

  • Understand the competitive landscape and develop sales and marketing tactics to take advantage of our strengths and minimize the risk of our weaknesses

  • Drive the overall North America Visuals portfolio from cradle to grave

  • Drive the NA Visuals product requirements into the WW product marketing team

  • Drive the Visuals marketing requirements into the NA marketing teams

  • Collaborate with the sales segments (Corporate, Global, Public Sector, SMB, Web) to develop sales strategies and marketing tactics to achieve the Visuals financial goals

  • Educate and enable the Lenovo Sellers and Channel Partners on the Visuals portfolio

  • Team with the Lenovo Sellers and Channel Partners to close deals

  • Create a competitive and timely portfolio for our SMB and Web business

  • Ensure competitive pricing

  • Collaborate with sales, GSC and supply/demand planning to determine the appropriate level of parts risk required to maximize sales and minimize aged inventory

  • Announce products on-time with the appropriate sales enablement (CRM, Web, datasheets, presentations, supply planning, pricing, training, etc.)

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • 10+ years’ experience in the IT industry

  • 5+ years’ experience leading team of professional business and product managers and individual contributors

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of driving premium to market growth in the Visuals or Accessories market in NA.

  • Experience managing a P&L

  • The ability to succeed through influence and persuasion

  • Emotional intelligence, flexible work style, and excellent diplomatic skills across all levels of the organization

  • The ability to communicate complex business concepts and challenges, and data clearly and succinctly.

  • A Master's degree is preferred

    • A willingness to travel >30% of the time, engaging the markets, customers, partners, and global teams
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $200-000-$225,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions.
