In this exciting role as a R&D Training Development Director, you will be responsible for providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization of strategic and department level initiatives to include defining performance goals and targets.

A Day in The Life:

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Designs and delivers programs to train core team leaders and core team members across all NPD functions.

  • Develops assessments, tests and workplace aids, e-learning programs, conductstraining classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of trainingactivities.

  • Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory,and new materials, methods, andtechniques.

  • Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness inpresent assignments.

  • May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administertraining programs.

  • Design and develop communication strategies for R&D to include, maintaining site builder, town halls, learning and development portals and leader communication tool kits.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements: To be considered for this role, please ensure the minimum requirements are evident on your resume

  • BA Degree

  • 10 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial/leadership experience, OR advanced degree with 8 years of relevant experience with 7+ years of managerial/leadership experience.
