Position Summary:

The STARLAB at Central Michigan University is seeking a postdoctoral research fellow to work on a project aiming to reconstruct the trace element biogeochemistry of the Laurentian Great Lakes across the Holocene. The initial appointment is 6 months, with the possibility of extension (6 to 18 additional months) contingent upon continued funding. 

Required Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Geochemistry, Earth sciences, Environmental Sciences, or related field. • Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in paleo reconstructions, trace metal analysis (concentration and isotope ratios), and/or clean room experience.
