Role Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Homewood Suites in Mount Pleasant. As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading our housekeeping staff, ensuring cleanliness and guest satisfaction are maintained at the highest standards. You will oversee daily operations, coordinate team schedules, conduct inspections, and foster a positive environment for our dedicated housekeeping team.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to hotel policies and standards.
Assign daily tasks and cleaning schedules to team members.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards.
Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders when necessary.
Address guest complaints and special requests promptly and effectively.
Maintain a safe working environment for all housekeeping team members.
Collaborate with other departments, such as Front Office and Maintenance, to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Assist in recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new housekeeping staff.
Implement and uphold all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Excellent knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively.
Exceptional customer service skills with a positive attitude.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
