Google Program Manager II, Operations, Consumer UX in Mountain View, California

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 2 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience analyzing and leveraging data to influence decision-making.

  • Experience developing and presenting business reviews and executive summaries for stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, or similar).

  • Experience in budget management, hiring practices, or vendor management.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to influence without authority and navigate organizations.

  • Excellent executive communication with written/visual presentation skills, combining persuasive storytelling with attention to detail.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$172,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Support communication and collaboration with key stakeholders across the organization while managing expectations.

  • Develop insightful recommendations to optimize budget management, hiring procedures, and vendor relationships.

  • Analyze and report on performance metrics, and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership to guide decision-making.

  • Collaborate with senior partners to achieve the organization's OKRs.

  • Establish and refine processes to promote velocity and ensure compliance with knowledge and information, and Google policies/goals.
