In this pivotal role, you will lead and manage engineering compliance end to end activities with the organization: E.g. establish and maintain engineering compliance programs covering various compliances like: SOX, MRC, DMA, DSA. You will collaborate closely with engineering and product teams, legal and finance partners, regulatory functions and other stakeholders to develop, implement and scale compliance strategies. This role requires strong engineering and compliance skills for effective compliance reviews of technical system designs, deep understanding of / capability to pick up understanding of regulatory landscapes, and be adept at building / designing automated compliance controls / solutions.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain compliance engineering compliance programs and risk management:• Partner with relevant teams to monitor and interpret regulations, standards, and guidelines relevant to engineering activities.• Drive comprehensive compliance programs for operationalizing compliance controls and enabling strong compliance posture• Partner with and influence cross-functional teams for compliance initiatives• Drive continuous monitoring on effectiveness of system control environment• Enable effective system remediation efforts by partnering with teams to setup program and drive accountabilityAudit support and collaboration:• Prepare for and facilitate audits and walkthroughs as needed to support management on system controls• Collaborate with management, internal and external compliance / audit stakeholders to stay updated on new compliance requirementsTraining and compliance reporting:• Design and deliver trainings (as needed with partners) on compliance requirements and best practices for engineering / systems teams• Stay updated on industry trends, technology compliance regulations and communicate relevant information to team• Drive and maintain scalable, succinct compliance reporting and high-quality reports and dashboards.Manage compliance stakeholders:• Foster collaborative relationships across teams, engineering control owners, compliance partner teams, finance and legal partners - to develop successful compliance programs in alignment with LinkedIn's strategic objectives.• Liaise with internal regulatory teams, certification agencies, and industry groups as needed for compliance.• Act as the point of contact for compliance-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholdersBasic Qualifications:• BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience• 5+ years of relevant work experience in technology compliance services or related field• 5+ years of experience with technology compliance across domains such as Access Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Ads revenue, Information Security, etc.• 2+ years of experience with code reviews and/or system designs and/or data analysisPreferred Qualifications / Experience:• MS in MIS (Management Information Systems) or MBA• 7+ years of engineering compliance, systems audit / compliance, IT SOX, in the tech industry or equivalent• Excellent grasp of risk management and technology compliance• Proven experience in conducting engineering / system compliance reviews• Strong knowledge of industry specific regulations, compliance frameworks, and standards including but not limited to: SOX, DMA, DSA, MRC, SSAE 16- SOC 1&2, GDPR• Experience with engineering / in-house systems, system flow related to internal metrics or quote to cash or trust and safety will be a plus• Experience with open source compliance and online advertising industries (B2C and B2B)• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high quality• Detail-oriented, analytical, tech-savvy, and adept to navigate through tools, systems, and platforms• Project management, teamwork, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate with all levels of management• Self starter, motivated and proactive with strong organizational and project management skills to multitask, thrive, and succeed in a fast-paced environment• Certifications in one or more of the following areas: CISSP, CISA or similarSuggested Skills:• IT / Systems Technology Compliance & Audit• Technology Risk Assessment• Regulatory Assessment for companies• Tech: Java, SQL, Hadoop, Azure, Kubernetes• Revenue complianceLinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.The pay range for this role is $112,000-183,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
